Dorcas Austin
Dorcas Austin, founder and president of Believe Ministries, empowers people to live out their God-given purpose and passion each day. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Northwestern University and served the Black student organization, For Members Only (FMO), the Northwestern Community Ensemble (NCE) and led the House on the Rock Bible Study.
Dorcas attended Harvard University Divinity School to further pursue the study of religion and ministry. While at Harvard, she served as the co-chair of the Harvard Prison Education Project, a program that made higher education available to the incarcerated. She also worked for the Development Offices of both Harvard Divinity and Law Schools.
Dorcas received her license as an evangelist in the Church of God in Christ and serves as an Executive Board member of the St. Luke Church. Through her love for education, psychology and religion, Dorcas inspires people all over the world.
