April 7, 2015  –
Theme: Trusting God’s word concerning our children

Scripture: I will put my trust in Him. And again behold I and the children which God has given me. Hebrews 2:13

Pray that our children will know that God’s word will work for them. Psalms 8:2, Psalms 17:6, Jeremiah 23:29

Pray that our children are not afraid or embarrassed to speak encouraging words to their friends. Matthew 12:34b, 1John 1:5b-7, Philippians 4:8

Pray that our children will put on the whole armor of God daily. Proverb 22:6, Ephesians 3:16,   Ephesians 6:11

Pray that our children are healthy, strong, filled with wisdom and God’s favor is on them. Luke 2:40, Romans 3:24

 

April 14, 2015 – Theme: God’s word helps

Scripture: For in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:4b

Pray that as God declares His word in and through our lives, we will become bridges to those who do not yet know the love of Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1: 1-10, Romans 5:11

Pray that as we labor faithfully, we wait patiently on the Lord who makes all things grow. 1Corinthians 3:7,

Pray that we believe that GOD is working in us to will and do of His good pleasure. Ephesians 1:3-11, 1Corinthians 3:6, Revelation 22:12

Pray that we will reflect God’s love to the world around us as we interact with others. Ephesians 5:11, John 3:16-17, 3John 1:11

 

April 21, 2015 –Theme: God’ word encourages

Scripture: Fear thou not: for I am with thee:  be not dismayed; for I am thou God I will strengthen thee: yea I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:1

Pray that we know and understand that we can’t always control the things that impact our day; but we have a choice how to respond to them. Acts 17: 16- 23, Daniel 3:15-16, Matthew 8:2

Pray that we develop the discipline to keep our speech under control. James 3: 1-10, 1Thess 4:11-12, Matthew 27:12-14, Ephesians 4:29

Pray that we practice cultivating a climate of faith for healing. Psalms 34:1, Mark 9: 14-25, 2Thessalonians 2:11, Luke 17: 12-14

Pray that we do not have a negative attitude about the seed God has given us.  Ecclesiastes 10:18, Proverbs 26:16, Matthew 25: 24- 29

 

April 28, 2015 – Theme: God rules the Nations

Scripture: For the kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules over the nations. Psalms 22:28

Pray that we are not in the 55% of Americans that reject God’s values. 1Thess 4:7-8, Colossians 3:12-13, Romans 2:4b

Pray for some judges that will have the courage to vote against anti God laws. Colossians 2:8, 2Timothy 2:2, Romans 13:1

Pray that as a nation we know that our power to survive tough challenges reside not in us but in God. 2Corinthians 4:8-9, Matthew 29:26, Philippians 4:6

Pray that our nation is not drawn in to another war. Psalms 2:1a, Psalms 2:2a, Hebrews 12:14, 1Peter 3:11
